  Calling for samples and recordings responding to one of the following:

  1 // humming a melody or a non-melody.

  2 // the sound of an imaginary organ; not restricted to living or earthly creatures! 

  3 // a sonically inspired response to the following riddle:
   
         Random, shifting, but recognisable.
         What constitutes it is invisible to our eyes.
         Intangible, incomplete yet indiscriminately casts a shadow.
         Guaranteed to witness all and be witnessed by all.
         It is applicable yet unknowable.
         A common mismeasure.
         What is it?
  
  The material received will be manipulated, sampled, mixed, and collaged by a selected group of composers & sonic artists, each creating a piece for your feast of listening pleasure.
  
  The tracks will be released by Shoppinghour Magazine, and a listening session will be hosted in London by Human Fiction Tartini.

  Human Fiction Tartini presents… Hidden Topographies
  
  A live mix of analogue radio signals for V22 Summer Club Radio by Chris Wood
  
  This programme is a live mix of the analogue radio bands audible from the Summer Club Radio studio in Bermondsey, South London. Two radios covering FM, AM and several bands of shortwave are routed through a DJ mixer, re-tuned and edited on the fly into a soundscape of the hidden signals. This another way of listening to the city: a montage of diverse sounds and meanings built from invisible but physical waves being conducted through South London. Hidden Topographies takes a sonic picture of the physical city at a moment in time and broadcasts it worldwide through the digital platform of Summer Club Radio.

  ‘Human Fiction Tartini’ is three words put together in a drive to affect our experience of making art and performing culture.
  
  It is our belief that we have entered an era of history that is no longer propelled solely by science and technology. Science Fiction has blurred its boundaries with Human Fiction - an era to be defined by the immanent manipulation of our very bodies, as well as an era defined more than ever by our individual actions as consumers.
  
  Fiction is not dishonest fabrication, but the potential to tell stories in a way that creates a culture that is meaningful through all the overlaps of what it means to be Human. Existing like a collective hologram of our endeavors, this massing of fictions resonates as a combination of all our individual frequencies and creates a tone of open experimentation without fear of failure or limit of genre.
